A lovely lake like Fish Lake close to Bull Lake is a magnificent location to take a look at; Martin Falls Campground is a great campground nearby. Bull Lake is pretty dried out frequently; during June this area sees the most rain while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. There is a great hiking trail close to Bull
Lake called the Fort Steele Trail, and a cool spot to visit is Point of Rocks. Get covered with water paddling on Sunday Creek; on a great day you can take a hike along the Mount Marston National Recreation Trail.

Mount Marston National Recreation Trail
 | This is a wonderful place to go hiking, It is a tough 7.5 miles uphill. I took my girlfriend hiking on this trail and we experienced a lush old growth forest, then we journeyed onto the mountain, where most of it was dry, but every once in awhile we ran into a majestic stream, with lush plant life growing around them, the view of lincoln county from on the ridge was amazing, the local Dicky Lake, was as blue as ever, and your eyes were allowed to stretch for miles upon open wilderness. Make sure to bring some food, its an energy waster, and some pepper spray!(mace) we did not encoutner any animal life except for insects and birds, but it is a Grizzly bear region.... |
