    Buffalo Horn Lakes is a very beautiful lake in beautiful surroundings. This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Gallatin River. This lake is so wonderful. There are some tremendous whitewater spots on Gallatin River, and there are perfect spots to look at along the Fawn Pass Trail. You completely should love Buffalo Horn Lakes. The snow is great at Moonlight Basin, and close by you locate the  
   Divide Trail which is a brilliant hiking trail.
Buffalo Horn Lakes is a great site to visit for more than one day, Buffalo Horn Campground is a great site to camp nearby, and Buffalo Horn Pass is a fine place to stop at. Through the days of summer at Buffalo Horn Lakes temperatures are frequently in the 80's; through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 30's, and nighttime lows at Buffalo Horn Lakes during the
 
               wintertime generally sink into the 10's. Dry warm beds await you at Crail Creek Club, and going for a hike on the Skyline Trail is always a delightful adventure.
At Buffalo Horn Lakes you don’t see much rain; May is the month that gets the most rain, and February is when it's the driest. Lakes are such serene places, why not explore Ramshorn Lake in close proximity to Buffalo Horn Lakes, and some great nature is available in Gallatin Petrified Forest. Tom Miner Campground is a great local campground, and Holiday Inn Sunspree Resort West Yellowstone Conference is a tremendous place to get some rest.
