Buck Lake is a very beautiful lake in beautiful surroundings. Having a wonderful time in the Cabinet Mountains is painless. If you need a place to stay Rodeway Inn Libby is a splendid choice, and Buck Lake is not the only place close by, Wanless Lake is a close by lake. From a rain point of view Buck Lake is a reasonably typical location; all through the month of November you get the most rain around here, and the driest month is July. Stay the night at Howard

| | Lake Campground, and whitewater paddling is delightful on Vermilion River. You just can't envision the amount of outdoors enjoyable stuff the Cabinet Mountains has to offer. There's so much to do here at Buck Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Lake Creek Campground is a pleasant site for that; since you're here you can take a hike along the Cabinet Divide Trail. look at; you can have a great hiking adventure along the Goat Ridge Trail. This lake is so wonderful. If you like skiing, you're in luck; Lookout Pass is in the vicinity of Buck Lake. Throughout the warm months, highs frequently
are in the 80's at Buck Lake with overnight lows in the 40's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 30's, and after the sun is down all through the winter temperatures at Buck Lake fall into the 10's. Man, is there heaps of enjoyable
stuff to do near Buck Lake. Carney Peak can be distinguished from Buck Lake, and why not check out close by Falls Creek while you're here at Buck Lake. This lake is one of the great places here in the Cabinet Mountains. This lake
is so wonderful. If you get bored of Buck Lake, you could also visit nearby Upper Bramlet Lake, and do take a hike on the Goat Peak Trail.

1935. The local ski pioneers chose Lookout Pass because of the abundant snowfall and excellent snow quality which they could access by jumping on the Northern Pacific railcars as they proceeded east from the mining towns of Wallace and Mullan, Idaho.
