If you came for an overnight stay Twin Campground is a great place to camp, and there's brilliant hiking along the Crow Creek Trail. And that's not all you can do here at Buck Lake. Not far from Buck Lake, you'll find Summit Lake which is a gorgeous lake, and you can hit the slopes       at Marshall Mountain nearby. Buck Lake is regularly a reasonably arid spot; June is the month that gets the most rain while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. High temperatures at Buck Lake throughout the long summer days are in the 80's, and the night is quite colder of course, typically in the 40's. High temperatures all through the winter are normally in the 30's, and overnight lows in the 10's for Buck Lake. The best way to                  spend a winter day is on the slopes of nearby Montana Snowbowl; dry warm beds await you at Twin Creeks Bed and Breakfast. This lake is so wonderful. Go for a hike on the Foothills Trail, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always check out close by Pasture Lake.
