You truly should love the Pioneer Mountains. There are tremendous places to explore along the Rhubarb Patch Trail, also Brownes Lake Dam is worth checking out while you're here. A great close by hotel is Comfort Inn Dillon, and hey, Storm Park Creek is a good local stream. Man, is there heaps of exciting things to do in the Pioneer Mountains. You're sure to come across some smiling people from Butte-Silver Bow here, and       after a long day outdoors Guesthouse Intl Dillon is a delightful site to spend a night or two. Brownes Lake gets very little rainfall; June is when you get the most rain here, and February is when it's the driest. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike on the Gold Creek Trail is always a good adventure, and a delightful place to camp here at Brownes Lake is Dinner Station Campground. Don't leave Brownes Lake without first going for a hike along the                  Stine Creek Trail, and if you come at the right time of year, Big Hole River offers some magnificent whitewater. If you like the outdoors, you'll have a thing about Brownes Lake. Brownes Lake is glorious enough to spend more than a day at, Aspen Campground is a glorious local campground, and from Brownes Lake you get a splendid sight of Sugarloaf Mountain. This lake is so wonderful. Brownes Lake is a fine lake in close proximity to Brownes Lake. Through the warm months at Brownes Lake highs are typically in the 70's with nighttime lows in the 40's. The winter comes with highs in the 30's while Brownes Lake night low temperatures through the wintertime are in the 0's.
