Throughout the summertime months here at Brown Lake, high temperatures regularly reach the 70's. For the period of the dark hours of summer temperatures fall down into the 30's. All through the winter the highs are commonly in the 20's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Brown Lake. Lakes are splendid; Frenco Lake is a lake that's near Brown Lake, and on a delightful day you can take a hike along the Crazy       Lakes Trail. Yep, outdoors enjoyable stuff to do are truly bountiful here at Brown Lake. Colter Campground is a good local campground; there are some brilliant whitewater spots on Stillwater River. Brown Lake gets very little rain; May is the wettest month with most rain, and February is when it's the driest. After a long day outdoors Super 8 Big Timber is a good location to spend a night or two, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always                  have a look at nearby Memidgi Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike along the Republic Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area; if you came for an overnight stay Woodbine Campground is a magnificent location to camp. All the outdoors enjoyable stuff in the Absaroka Range will keep you coming back many times. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Absaroka Range.
