Having a brilliant time at Broadwater Lake is easy. Lost Lake is a nearby lake that you could go to, and perfect skiing awaits you at Red Lodge Mountain. Whohoo, so much fun stuff in one place! The Absaroka Range is peerless! Why not take a refreshing hike along the Beartooth Highlakes Trail. There's so much to do here at Broadwater Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Buena Vista Campground is a good       location for that. This lake is so wonderful. A lake close by is Cresent Lake, and Broadwater Lake is great enough to spend more than a day at, M-K Campground is a great local campground. An average amount of rain falls at Broadwater Lake; the month with most of the rain is May while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. High temperatures at Broadwater Lake through the summer months are in the 70's, and through summer nights temperatures                  are in the 50's. High temperatures through the winter are normally in the 30's; overnight lows at Broadwater Lake through the winter generally sink into the 10's. You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors cool stuff the Absaroka Range has to offer. There's splendid hiking along the Beartooth Loop National Recreation Trail; Clarks Fork Yellowstone River has a good whitewater paddling spot nearby. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Comfort Inn Red Lodge. Hellroaring Plateau is a beautiful location any time of year; paddling on Rosebud Creek - East is so much fun.
