Montana has many beautiful lakes and Bowman Lake is one of them. Bowman Lake is a beautiful lake in the Lewis Range. Bowman Lake is usually a rather dried up site; of all the months in a year December is the one with the most snow, and April on the other hand is the driest. High temperatures at Bowman Lake throughout the long summer days are in the 70's while night lows are usually in the 40's. Throughout the winter highs are in the 20's; night lows all through

| | the wintertime for Bowman Lake tend to be in the 0's.
Don't leave Bowman Lake without first going for a hike along the Quartz Lake Trail, and Baby Glacier is an interesting place to stop at while at Bowman Lake. There's no way somebody can get bored here in the Lewis Range. This is no place for people who don’t like to have fun. Good hiking is available along the Numa Ridge Lookout Trail, and whitewater paddling is delightful on Flathead River - Middle | |

Get soaked paddling on Flathead River - Middle Fork, and camping is available at Quartz Creek Campground. So much fun stuff to do in the Lewis Range, not sufficient time. There's glorious hiking along the Bowman Lake Trail,
and camping at Bowman Lake Campground is always a good experience. This lake is so wonderful. From Bowman Lake you get a great vista of Numa Peak, and Glacier National Park is a glorious place close by.
