Summertime highs at Boulder Lakes usually tend to be in the 70's. Summer night lows fall down to the 30's. Highs during the winter are usually in the 20's while the cold winter nights at Boulder Lakes are in the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Boulder Lakes that you need to camp here for a while, Chief Joseph Campground is a great place for that, and you can have a great hiking       adventure along the Crazy Mountain Trail. You just can't picture the amount of outdoors amusing stuff the area near Boulder Lakes has to offer. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always pop by close by Lake of the Clouds, and Boulder Lakes is great enough to spend more than a day at, Fox Creek Campground is a great local campground. This lake is so wonderful. Boulder Lakes is located in the Absaroka Range. There's whitewater on Rosebud                  Creek - West for all you adrenaline rush seekers, and the view of Oxide Mountain is beautiful. You'll truly wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the enjoyable things in the Absaroka Range. This is a nice neighborhood for folks who like lakes. Little Molar Lake is a lake close at hand; there are some great whitewater spots on Clarks Fork Yellowstone. Boulder Lakes gets a typical amount of annual precipitation; June is the wettest month with most rain, and the driest month of the year is October. That right there is loads of entertaining things already but it goes on, the Absaroka Range has it all. Don't forget to take a delightful little journey to Russell Creek, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Crazy Lakes Trail.
