The amount of precipitation that falls at Boulder Lakes is close to the national average; during the month of June you get the most rain around here; October is the month with the least moisture. At Boulder Lakes through the summer highs are in the 70's. Once the sun is down it dips down to the 30's. Highs throughout the wintertime are commonly in the 20's, and after the sun is down through       the wintertime temperatures at Boulder Lakes fall into the 0's. Camping at Boulder Lakes is wonderful fun, Chief Joseph Campground is a wonderful local campground; going for a hike along the Crazy Lakes Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood. This lake is so wonderful. If the weather is glorious here at Boulder Lakes, you can go for a hike along the Pilot Creek Trail, and after a long day outdoors Super 8 Motel Big Timber is a                  good place to spend a night or two. And if that's not enough there's lots more exciting stuff to do in the Absaroka Range. There are some perfect whitewater spots on Rosebud Creek - West. On a great day at Boulder Lakes you can take a hike along the Crazy Mountain Trail. Lakes? Sure, Aquarius Lake is in the neighborhood. Just can't get enough of the Absaroka Range. Boulder Lakes is a good place to camp, Fox Creek Campground is a good place; if you come at the right time of year, Clarks Fork Yellowstone offers some glorious whitewater. The Absaroka Range scenery is always beautiful. Don't you try to stop me, cause I'm havin' a glorious time here at Boulder Lakes.
