Lakes are such calm spots, why not stop at Lake Crystal close to Boulder Lake, and the best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of close by Lost Trail. Just can't get enough of the Bitterroot Range. You'll locate a gorgeous lake called Dollar Lake near Boulder Lake, and Bare Peak is simple       to spot from Boulder Lake. The South Route of Old Nez Perce Trail offers hiking at its best, and a tremendous place to camp here at Boulder Lake is Little West Fork Campground. And if that's not enough there's heaps more cool stuff to do in the Bitterroot Range. And if that's not enough, there's a heap more to do near Boulder Lake. Why not camp at Rombo Creek Campground if you're here at Boulder Lake, and there's perfect hiking along the Old Nez Perce                  Indian Trail. Boulder Lake gets very little precipitation; most of the rain falls through May, and July meanwhile is the driest month.
