If you are in this part of Montana make sure to pay a visit to Bob Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Man, is there lots of enjoyable stuff to do in the Absaroka Range. The panorama of Mount Fox from Bob Lake is striking, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always explore close by Dick Lake. Bob Lake is a location that is quite dried out regularly; of all the months in a year May is the one with the most rain, and the driest month of the year

So much cool stuff to do here in the Absaroka Range, too good to be true. Stay the night at Colter Campground; you can run the rapids of Stillwater River. Throughout the warm months, highs generally are in the 70's at Bob Lake. Throughout the moonlight hours it's generally in the 30's. For the duration of the winter the highs are typically in the 20's; during the dark hours in the winter at Bob Lake temperatures plunge to the 0's. This lake | |

is one of the great places here in the Absaroka Range.
This lake is so wonderful. Soda Butte Campground is a pleasant campground nearby; why not take a refreshing hike along the Republic Trail. Man, is there loads of cool stuff
to do close to Bob Lake. If you need a location to stay Super 8 Motel Big Timber is a delightful choice, and hiking along the North Crandall Trail is pleasant fun. There's whitewater on Clarks Fork Yellowstone for all you thrill
seekers, and do take a hike on the Pilot Creek Trail.
Alp Rock is something you shouldn't miss if you're here at Bob Lake. Lakes? Sure, Companion Lake is close by.
