Highs all through the winter are generally in the 20's while Boatman Lake nighttime low temperatures during the winter are in the 0's. Dry warm beds await you at Comfort Inn Dillon; nearby you hit upon The Sandbar which is a great site to visit. So many exciting things to do here in the Pioneer Mountains, too great to be true. Boatman       Lake is not the only place nearby, Estler Lake is a nearby lake, and going for a hike on the Driveway Trail is always a splendid adventure. Around Boatman Lake you don’t get a lot of rain; through the month of June you get the most rain around here, and the driest month of the year is February. Stay the night at Dinner Station Campground, and there is a pleasant hiking trail close by called the Rhubarb Patch Trail. This lake is so wonderful. If you get                  bored of Boatman Lake, you could also visit nearby Tent Lake; if the weather is wonderful, you obtain a nice panorama of Tent Mountain from Boatman Lake. All year is a splendid time in the Pioneer Mountains if you love the outdoors. Do stop by Estler Lake Dam since you're here at Boatman Lake, and there are splendid locations to look at along the Gold Creek Trail. This lake is so wonderful.
