I don't want to stop, cause I'm havin' a pleasant time here at Blueball Lake. Going for a hike on the Bozeman Trail is always a wonderful adventure. This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Blueball Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Pine Grove Campground is a good place for that, and it's a great idea to have a look at Crazy Man Creek. Blueball Lake       is delightful enough to spend more than a day at, Old West RV Park and Campground is a delightful local campground, and if you come at the right time of year, Stillwater River offers some glorious whitewater. There are glorious places to look at along the Black Butte Trail, and you need to pop by Fladberg Bench since you're here. If you like skiing, you're in luck; Red Lodge Mountain is next to Blueball Lake; get yourself into a kayak and hit Stillwater                  River. It is very waterless here at Blueball Lake usually; the wettest month of the year is mostly May, that's the one that rains the most, and the driest of the months is February. All through the warm days of summer highs here at Blueball Lake get into the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures dip down into the 50's.
