A visit to Blue Lake is always a good idea. Be careful coming to Blue Lake, you might not ever wanna go back home again. After a long day outdoors Livingston Super 8 Motel is a great spot to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is great on Boulder River, and Burnt Gulch Lake is a nearby lake that you could go to. Blue Lake is one of the lakes here in the Absaroka Range.
Why not take a refreshing hike along the Poacher Trail, and if

| | you came to camp Hells Canyon Campground is a good spot to do that. The peak of Haystack Peak can be observed from Blue Lake, and the Buffalo Plateau Trail offers hiking at its best. There's no way anybody can get bored here in the Absaroka Range. There's so much to do here at Blue Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Hicks Park Campground is a great place for that, and do take a hike on the Coyote Creek Trail.
