Turner Mountain is a tremendous local ski area; fine hiking is available along the Coyote Creek Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Rodeway Inn Libby is a tremendous spot to get some rest; Banfield Mountain is easy to spot from Blue Lake. The annual precipitation here at Blue Lake is about average; most of the rain falls through November, and July is when it's the driest. Lakes are nice; Horse Lakes is a lake that's in the vicinity of Blue Lake; you can stay

| | the night at Timberlane Campground. Be careful coming to Blue Lake, you might not ever wanna return home again. Not far from Blue Lake, you'll locate Tom Poole Lake which is a striking lake; in the event that you don’t have a problem getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Kootenai River. Meadowlark RV Park is a brilliant campground nearby, and don't leave Blue Lake without first going for a hike along the Fisher Mountain Trail. | |

During the summer here at Blue Lake, high temperatures ordinarily reach the 80's with nighttime lows in the 40's. Through the wintertime this place gets highs in the 30's, and night lows in the 10's for Blue Lake.
