There are some magnificent whitewater spots on Swan River; don't forget to visit Blackies Bay while you're here. At Blue Lake through the long summer days highs are in the 70's. For the duration of the moonlight hours it's regularly in the 40's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Blue Lake. | | hiking trail, and dry warm beds await you at Super 8 Motel - Glacier Park/Columbia Falls. Blue Lake gets very little rainfall; the wettest month of the year is typically June, that's the one that rains the most, and February on the other hand is the driest.
This lake is so wonderful. There is a pleasant hiking trail near Blue Lake called the Doris Creek Trail, and there's whitewater on Flathead River - Middle Fork for all you adrenaline kick people. There | |

are plenty of people from Kalispell here at Blue Lake, and Glacier National Park is a very splendid place to take a look at. Any time is a perfect time at Blue Lake if you go for the outdoors. Blue Lake is not the only spot nearby,
Talmadge Lake is a nearby lake, and if you're a golfer then a delightful close by course is Eagle Bend Golf Club.
Camping is available at Rv Timbers Park, and Glacier Mountain Lodge is a perfect spot to get some rest. Looking
for something near Blue Lake? Spill Lake is around here, and a splendid spot to camp here at Blue Lake is Bigfork Campground. On a great day at Blue Lake you can take a hike along the Alpine Trail.
