This place is great, just look at all the cool stuff to do in close proximity to Blue Danube       Lake. High Hope Lake is a nearby lake that you could explore, and dry warm beds await you at Sawtelle Mountain Resort. High temperatures at Blue Danube Lake during the long summer days are in the 80's. Once the sun is down it descends down to the 40's. For the period of the winter highs are in the 30's, and nighttime lows during the winter for Blue Danube Lake tend to be in the 10's. If you get bored of Blue Danube Lake, you could also stop at close by                  Triple Lakes, and if you come at the right time of year, Madison River offers some fine whitewater. If the weather is perfect here at Blue Danube Lake, you can go for a hike along the Wapiti Creek Trail. There's so much to do here at Blue Danube Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Rock Creek Campground is a great site for that. This lake is so wonderful.
