The amount of rainfall that falls at Blodgett Lake is close to the national average; January is the wettest month with most snow, and July is when it's the driest. A lake close by is Moose Lake, and camping at Bear Creek Pass Campground is always a pleasant experience. The Bitterroot Range scenery is always beautiful. Summer at Blodgett Lake arrives       with high temperatures in the 80's, and through the night it cools down to the 40's. High temperatures throughout the winter are normally in the 30's, and night lows in the 10's for Blodgett Lake. This place, Blodgett Lake, it truly has so much outdoors amusing stuff. You could also pop by Mill Lake while you're here at Blodgett Lake; it's close by, and Blodgett Lake is great enough to spend more than a day at, Schumaker Campground is a great local campground.                  You'll really wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the cool things in the Bitterroot Range. Go for a hike on the Ward Mountain Trail. This lake is so wonderful. A delightful place for whitewater paddling near Blodgett Lake is Big Sand Creek, and a nice site nearby is Blodgett Pass. That right there is a load of exciting things already but it goes on, the Bitterroot Range has it all.
