A visit to Blanchard Lake is always a good idea. This lake is so wonderful. Really good skiing awaits you at Blacktail Mountain, and you'll stumble on a charming lake called Spencer Lake. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Flathead River - Middle Fork, and going for a hike along the Danny on Memorial National Recreation Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity. If you need a place to stay Holiday Inn Express Whitefish, Mt is a fine choice, and Whitefish RV Park is a glorious local campground.
Whitefish Lake Golf Club is a golf course near Blanchard Lake, and if you haven’t been to Glacier National Park, you should schedule some time for it while you're here. Not much rain falls here at Blanchard Lake; the wettest month
of the year is mostly June, that's the one that rains the most, and the driest of the months is October.
All through the summertime months here at Blanchard Lake, high temperatures typically get into the 80's. When the night sets
in temperatures plunge down into the 40's. High temperatures throughout the wintertime are normally in the 20's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Blanchard Lake. There's whitewater on Stillwater River for all you adrenaline people, and if you came for an overnight stay Whitefish RV Park is a good place to camp.
