This lake is so wonderful. Orchard Point is not far from Blanchard Lake at all, and the best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of nearby Big Mountain. If you need a location to stay Bay Point On The Lake is a great choice, and if you come at the right time of year, Flathead River - Middle Fork offers       some wonderful whitewater. This lake is so wonderful. There are some good whitewater spots on Stillwater River; why not take a refreshing hike along the Micho Trail. If you go for the outdoors, you'll fancy Blanchard Lake. Glacier National Park is a pleasant place next to Blanchard Lake. Playing golf is lots of fun at Whitefish Lake Golf Club, and why not head up to Blacktail Mountain and strap some skis to your feet. This is no place for people who don’t like                  to have fun. Dry warm beds await you at Grouse Mountain Lodge, and the Danny on Memorial National Recreation Trail offers hiking at its best. Looking for something next to Blanchard Lake? Sampson Lake is in the neighborhood; Blanchard Lake is not far at all from Kalispell. For the period of the warm days of summer at Blanchard Lake temperatures are regularly in the 80's, and throughout summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. During the winter the highs are usually in the 20's while the cold winter nights at Blanchard Lake are in the 10's.
