This lake is so wonderful. Have a good hiking adventure along the Micho Trail; enjoy a round of golf at Whitefish Lake Golf Club. If you need a spot to stay Grouse Mountain Lodge is a delightful choice, and while you're here you can take a hike along the Whitefish Divide-Smokey Range National Recreation Trail. Whitefish RV Park is a nice campground nearby; you'll meet a lot of people from Kalispell here. This lake is       so wonderful. There are other places here than Blanchard Lake, for example Lost Coon Lake, and don't forget to pop by Orchard Point since you're here. Sampson Lake is a great lake in the neighborhood of Blanchard Lake, and get wet paddling on Flathead River - Middle Fork. Drift down the rapids of Stillwater River in a kayak, and Blacktail Mountain is a very popular ski area close at hand. It is very dried up here at Blanchard Lake ordinarily; June is the                  month that gets the most rain, and October is the month with the least moisture. Take a hike on the Danny on Memorial National Recreation Trail; Big Mountain has great slopes and a friendly staff. Man, is there loads of enjoyable stuff to do close to Blanchard Lake. Holiday Inn Express Whitefish, Mt is a tremendous spot to get some rest, and Whitefish RV Park is a great local campground. If only every site had this much outdoors enjoyable stuff, what a great world it would be. A journey to Glacier National Park is worthwhile. For the duration of the warmest time of the year, highs usually are in the 80's at Blanchard Lake. When the night sets in temperatures drop down into the 40's.
