The beauty of Blackmore Lake attracts many people from all around. There are some good whitewater spots on Gallatin River, and folks from Bozeman love to come here. This lake is so wonderful. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Yellowstone River, and what would a spot like Blackmore Lake be without interesting close by traits like History Rock. Be careful coming to Blackmore Lake, you might not ever want to return back home again. Mount Blackmore is painless to spot

What would winter be without some skiing at Bridger Bowl, and camping at Blackmore Campground is always a great experience. This lake is so wonderful. The Pole Gulch Trail offers hiking at its best, and if you need a site to stay Bozeman - Days Inn is a wonderful choice. ordinarily get into the 80's. Summer night lows fall down to the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 30's, and after the sun is down throughout the wintertime temperatures at Blackmore Lake drop into the 10's. A brilliant
location to camp here at Blackmore Lake is Palace Butte Campground, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Blackmore Lake; Red Rock Trail is a great local trail. You don’t have to go far from Blackmore Lake to spot the water at
Middle Creek Dam; since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always stop by nearby Hyalite Reservoir. It is very arid here at Blackmore Lake regularly; May is the wettest month with most rain while February is mostly the
driest month. There's just no way somebody can get bored here at Blackmore Lake. Blackmore Lake is right by the Divide Trail; dry warm beds await you at Comfort Inn Bozeman.

Incredible expert only skiing is available off Bridger's new Schlasman's Chairlift and on the renowned ''Ridge.'' Skiers and snowboarders who wish to ride the new lift or access this terrain, collectively known as Ridge Terrain, must have an avalanche transceiver (457 kHz). It is strongly recommended to have a partner, a shovel and expert skiing abilities in addition to knowledge of the terrain before venturing into the area which will have no hazard markings, no grooming and no marked trails. Ridge Terrain contains numerous steep chutes, rock cliffs, and snowfields which may end in unmarked cliffs.
