Mount Marston National Recreation Trail
 | This is a wonderful place to go hiking, It is a tough 7.5 miles uphill. I took my girlfriend hiking on this trail and we experienced a lush old growth forest, then we journeyed onto the mountain, where most of it was dry, but every once in awhile we ran into a majestic stream, with lush plant life growing around them, the view of lincoln county from on the ridge was amazing, the local Dicky Lake, was as blue as ever, and your eyes were allowed to stretch for miles upon open wilderness. Make sure to bring some food, its an energy waster, and some pepper spray!(mace) we did not encoutner any animal life except for insects and birds, but it is a Grizzly bear region.... |
Sunday Creek
 | 10 miles away (...)You guys are asking for problems! This stretch of Sunday creek is choked with logs and is NOT a run. Just read the AWA info on it! This site is a dis-service to paddlers every where and your gonna get someone hurt or pissed off when they drive 300 mile to get to some unnavigable stream.... |
