Here at Black Lake you'll possibly meet some people from Kalispell. During the warmest time of the year, highs typically are in the 80's at Black Lake, and the night is rather colder of course, ordinarily in the 50's. All through the wintertime the highs are generally in the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Black Lake. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a spot to stay Bridge Street Cottages is a       wonderful choice; good hiking is available along the Tongue Mountain Trail. This lake is located in the wonderful Lewis Range. Nearby lakes? Sure, Blackfoot Lake is in close proximity to Black Lake; whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Swan River. This lake is so wonderful. There's whitewater on Flathead River - Middle Fork for all you adrenaline kick people; there's brilliant hiking along the Noisy Creek Notch                  Trail. All year is a perfect time in the Lewis Range if you adore the outdoors. Don't leave Black Lake without first going for a hike along the Graves Creek Trail; a great close by hotel is Glacier Park Super 8 Motel. A glorious site like Jewel Basin here at Black Lake is too good to miss, and why not camp at Lid Creek Campground if you're here at Black Lake. So much enjoyable stuff to do here in the Lewis Range, too tremendous to be true. Don't miss out on a tour to Glacier National Park while you're here at Black Lake, and Fire Island Campground is a great local campground. The annual precipitation here at Black Lake is about average; November is the month that gets the most rain; the driest of the months is July. Yeah, come here to Black Lake for a perfect time.
