An attention-grabbing thing to explore right next door to Bison Bone Reservoir is Bison Bone Reservoir Dam; the Horse Camp Trail is a wonderful hiking trail nearby. Not much rainfall falls here at Bison Bone Reservoir; throughout May this area sees the most rain, and February is when it's the driest. This lake is so wonderful.
