Birch Lake is a beautiful lake in the Lewis Range. This lake is so wonderful. A good close by hotel is Glacier Park Super 8 Motel, and you can go for a hike on the Aeneas Creek Trail. Summertime at Birch Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 80's. Once the sun is down it sinks down to the 50's. Throughout the winter highs are ordinarily in the 20's; night lows in the 10's for Birch Lake. This lake is so       wonderful. If you came for an overnight stay Handkerchief Lake Campground is a splendid location to camp; whitewater paddling is great on Flathead River - Middle Fork. Good hiking is available along the Graves Creek Trail, and a spree to Jewel Basin invigorates the soul. These mountains rock, just look at all the cool stuff to do in the Lewis Range. While you're here at Birch Lake, you could also check out gorgeous Aeneas Lake, and Lid Creek Campground is a splendid                  campground nearby. You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors entertaining things the area near Birch Lake has to offer. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Birch Lake; Wolf Creek Trail is a splendid local trail; in case you don’t have a problem getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Swan River.
