Around Bighorn Lake you don’t get a lot of rain; the month with most of the rain is May, and the driest of the months is February. All through the long summer days at Bighorn Lake highs are mostly in the 70's. Summer overnight lows sink down to the 40's. Throughout the winter highs are in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Bighorn Lake are in the 10's. Glide down the rapids of Dearborn       River in a kayak, and there is a glorious hiking trail close by called the Blacktail Creek Trail. Life's too short to enjoy all the entertaining things in the vicinity of Bighorn Lake. Yep, outdoors fun stuff truly is bountiful here in the Lewis Range. Stay the night at Copper Creek Campground, and Great Divide is a magnificent local ski area. There's so much to do here at Bighorn Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Aspen Grove Campground is a wonderful                  spot for that, and going for a hike on the Lone Mountain Trail is always a perfect adventure. This lake is one of the great places here in the Lewis Range. This lake is so wonderful.
