Bighorn Lake is good enough to spend more than a day at, Aspen Grove Campground is a good local campground, and get your heart beating on the magnificent whitewater of Dearborn River. High temperatures at Bighorn Lake throughout the warm days of summer are in the 70's. Summer night lows sink down to the 40's. Daytime highs throughout the wintertime are in       the 30's; during the dark hours in the wintertime at Bighorn Lake temperatures fall to the 10's. This site, the Lewis Range, has so much outdoors cool things. There's whitewater on Falls Creek for all you adrenaline kick people, and if the weather is fine, you can go for a hike along the Blacktail Creek Trail. What a location this is for outdoors folks. While you're here at Bighorn Lake you can take a hike along the Landers Fork Trail, and not far from Bighorn                  Lake you'll hit upon Heart Lake which is a stunning lake. Lakes? Sure, Snowbank Lake is in the vicinity; if you like skiing, you're in luck; Great Divide is quite near. So much cool stuff to do in the Lewis Range, not enough time. On a great day at Bighorn Lake you can take a hike along the Lone Mountain Trail. There's so much to do here at Bighorn Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Copper Creek Campground is a splendid location for that. Bighorn Lake is a location that is quite arid commonly; the month with most of the rain is May; the driest month is February.
