    If you are in Lewis and Clark county it's always a good idea to stop by Bighorn Lake. Not much rain falls here at Bighorn Lake; of all the months in a year May is the one with the most rain while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. The Landers Fork Trail is a splendid hiking trail close to Bighorn Lake, and in case you don’t mind getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Falls Creek. Whitewater paddling is tremendous  
   on Dearborn River; Great Divide is a very popular ski area in the neighborhood.
Just can't get enough of the Lewis Range. Going for a hike on the Lone Mountain Trail is always a glorious adventure, and Bighorn Lake is a glorious spot to visit for more than one day, Aspen Grove Campground is a glorious spot to camp nearby. Be careful coming to Bighorn Lake, you might not ever want to return back home again. This lake is so wonderful. There is a great hiking
 
               trail in the vicinity of Bighorn Lake called the Blacktail Creek Trail, and Copper Creek Campground is a good campground nearby.
The Lewis Range scenery is always beautiful. All through the warm months at Bighorn Lake highs are ordinarily in the 70's. Once the sun is down it falls down to the 40's. Daytime highs throughout the winter are in the 30's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Bighorn Lake.
