You could also stop by Mud Lake if you're here at Big Salmon Lake; it's nearby, and you can stay the night at Beaver Creek Campground. Big Salmon Lake is right by the Helen Creek Trail; since you're here, you could go to Charlotte Creek. Summer brings highs in the 80's to Big Salmon Lake. Summer night lows drop down to the 40's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 30's with temperatures                  at Big Salmon Lake dipping down into the 10's through winter nights.
