Float down the rapids of Rosebud Creek - West in a kayak, and why not a little side visit to Falls Creek. Summertime highs at Big Park Lake frequently tend to be in the 70's, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 30's. For the period of the winter highs are in the 20's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Big Park Lake. This lake is so wonderful. There are other spots       here than Big Park Lake, for example Scat Lake. Not far from Big Park Lake, you'll find Martin Lake which is a striking lake, and on a great day you can take a hike along the Lake Reno Trail. An average amount of precipitation falls at Big Park Lake; the month with most of the rain is June; the driest month is October. This lake is located in the wonderful Absaroka Range. This lake is so wonderful. You can spot Summit Mountain from Big Park Lake; if                  the weather is wonderful, you can go for a hike along the Crazy Mountain Trail. A short tour to Charlie Falls is always worthwhile; camping is available at Emerald Lake Campground. You clearly have to fancy the Absaroka Range. Red Lodge Mountain has good slopes and a friendly staff, and why not camp at East Rosebud Campground while you're here at Big Park Lake. Man, is there a heap of cool stuff to do in the Absaroka Range.
