You just can't envision the amount of outdoors exciting stuff the Lewis Range has to offer. Not far from Big Hawk Lake, you'll come across Three Eagles Lakes which is a striking lake, and after a long day outdoors Bridge Street Cottages is a tremendous location to spend a night or two. Through the months of summer at Big Hawk Lake temperatures are typically in the 80's. Summer night lows drop down to the 50's. The winter       brings highs down to the 20's with temperatures at Big Hawk Lake dipping down into the 10's during winter nights. Big Hawk Mountain is a peak you can observe from Big Hawk Lake, and Graves Bay Campground is a nice campground nearby. Now, you may believe that's loads but there's even more cool stuff to do here at Big Hawk Lake. Get wet paddling on Swan River, and while you're here you can take a hike along the Peterson Creek Trail. This lake is located in the                  wonderful Lewis Range. This lake is so wonderful. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Flathead River - Middle Fork; on a great day you can take a hike along the Pioneer Ridge Trail. Whohoo, so much entertaining stuff in one place! The Lewis Range is great! The sights at Glacier National Park will blow your mind, and you can have a wonderful hiking adventure along the Aeneas Creek Trail. Handkerchief Lake Campground is a great local campground. Lakes are pleasant; Pilgrim Lakes is a lake that's near Big Hawk Lake. This lake is so wonderful.
