wonderful. There's so much to do here at Big Grizzly Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Schumaker Campground is a fine site for that, and while you're here you can take a hike along the Old Nez Perce Trail. This lake is
so wonderful. Best Western Hamilton Inn is a tremendous place to get some rest, and on a wonderful day you can take a hike along the South Route Old Nez Perce Trail. Big Grizzly Lake is located in the Bitterroot Range.

Tag Alder Lake
 | 19 miles away I venture up to Tag Alder every year. It is getting more and more difficult to get up there because of the new growth of trees from the fires of 2000. Once there it is beautiful lake. Another half hour hike up and you will be at the summit of the mountain. There is a nice camp area on North shore. Fishing is best in late spring using small spinners or powerbait.... |
