If you have a thing about the outdoors, you'll go for Beta Lake. Yep, outdoors cool stuff truly is plentiful here in the Lewis Range. Bad Rock B&B is a great place to get some rest, and Hungry Horse Dam is not far at all from Beta Lake. High temperatures at Beta Lake throughout the summer months are in the 80's. During the dark hours of summer temperatures drop down into the 50's. During       the winter the highs are regularly in the 20's; after the sun is down all through the wintertime temperatures at Beta Lake sink into the 10's. There's no way anybody can get bored here in the Lewis Range. Nearby lakes? Sure, Alpha Lake is close to Beta Lake, and Devils Elbow is an exciting location to stop at while at Beta Lake. Go for a hike on the Columbia Mountain Trail, and folks from Kalispell love to come here. Why not go to nearby Alora Creek if you're                  here at Beta Lake, and Beta Lake is tremendous enough to spend more than a day at, North Lion Lake Campground is a tremendous local campground. Beta Lake is a beautiful lake in the Lewis Range. This lake is so wonderful. This is a nice neighborhood for people who like lakes. Hungry Horse Reservoir is a lake close by, and whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Flathead River - Middle Fork. If you came to camp South Lion Lake Campground is a tremendous site to do that, and get your heart beating on the brilliant whitewater of Flathead River - Middle Fork. This is no location for people who don’t like to have a good time. All our national parks are nice places to explore, and Glacier National Park is no exception, and wonderful hiking is available along the Doris Creek Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Beta Lake; Alpine Trail is a delightful local trail, and a great nearby hotel is Glacier Park Super 8 Motel.
