The Lewis Range scenery is always beautiful. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Bench Lake, you could also visit beautiful Kootenai Lakes; the Stoney Indian Pass Trail offers hiking at its best. Bench Lake is pretty arid generally; the month of December is the wettest with most of the snow, and April is the month with the least moisture. Be careful coming to the Lewis       Range, you might not ever wanna go home again. Flathead River - Middle Fork has a great whitewater paddling spot close by, and if you came for an overnight stay Sprague Creek Campground is a delightful spot to camp. Bench Lake really is in the middle of a charming outdoors paradise. Glacier National Park is a brilliant national park, and there's pleasant hiking along the Waterton Valley Trail. For the duration of the summertime months at Bench Lake temperatures                  are ordinarily in the 70's. Summer overnight lows sink down to the 40's. The winter brings highs down to the 20's; night lows all through the wintertime for Bench Lake tend to be in the 0's. Take a side tour to Kootenai Creek, and the vista of Kootenai Peak is charming. This lake is so wonderful. Bench Lake is right by the North Boundary Trail. Camping is available at Avalanche Campground, and do check out Lake Janet, it's a wonderful lake. Yeah, come up here to the Lewis Range for a brilliant time.
