Once the sun is down it plunges down to the 40's. Highs through the winter are generally in the 30's, and overnight lows in the 10's for Beley Pond. If you want a great time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Crazy Mountains. The Lodgepole Trail offers hiking at its best; why not camp at Big Timber Koa Kampground since you're here at Beley Pond. There's fine hiking along the       Black Butte Trail, and a great site is Fyfe Coulee. This lake is so wonderful. If you're here at Beley Pond and you like golf, you can pop by Overland Golf Course, and while you're here, you could also visit charming Glass Lindsay Lakes Lower Reservoir. This lake is so wonderful. Float down the rapids of Boulder River - East in a kayak; dry warm beds await you at Super 8 Big Timber. These mountains rock, just look at all the entertaining things to do in                  the Crazy Mountains. Featherbed Creek is a splendid site to pop by; get dripping wet paddling on Boulder River. Not far from Beley Pond you obtain some pleasant water scenery at Beley Pond Dam, and Spring Creek Campground and Trout Ranch is a splendid local campground. This lake is one of the great places here in the Crazy Mountains. If you want a splendid time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Beley Pond. If you need a location to stay Murray Hotel is a good choice, and do visit Lavold Reservoir, it's a beautiful lake.
