Beehive Lake is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. Beehive Lake is glorious enough to spend more than a day at, Elkhorn is a glorious local campground, and a lake nearby is Mirror Lake. Beehive Lake is pretty dry mostly; May is when you get the most rain here; the driest month of the year is February. This lake is so wonderful. Skiing at Big Sky is one of those things you just must do, and you can have a splendid hiking adventure along

| | the Lightning Creek Trail. You clearly must have a thing about Beehive Lake. If you come at the right time of year, Gallatin River offers some good whitewater, and the summit of Blaze Mountain can be distinguished from Beehive Lake. A delightful nearby hotel is Arrowhead. There's so much to do here at Beehive Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Castle Rock Inn is a delightful location for that. All through the warm days of summer highs here at | |

Beehive Lake reach the 80's. Once the sun is down it sinks down to the 50's. Through the winter highs are in the 30's; night lows in the 10's for Beehive Lake. Beehive Lake is not the only place close by, Spanish Lakes is a close
by lake, and Beehive Lake is not far at all from Bozeman. Really good skiing awaits you at Moonlight Basin, and hiking along the Eldridge Trail is nice fun. Going for a hike along the Wapiti Creek Trail will let you absorb the natural
beauty of this vicinity. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a place to stay Beaverhead is a glorious choice, and don’t forget to stop at Beehive Basin if you're here at Beehive Lake.
