This lake is so wonderful. Beaver Ponds is right by the Bear Gulch Trail; Beaver Ponds is glorious enough to spend more than a day at, Cromwell Dixon Campground is a glorious local campground. Be careful coming to the Lewis Range, you might not ever want to return back home again. A great spot like Thompson Flats here at Beaver Ponds is too delightful to miss. Lakes are pleasant; Beaver Ponds is a lake that's near Beaver       Ponds. High temperatures at Beaver Ponds throughout the long summer days are in the 80's. For the period of the dark hours of summer temperatures sink down into the 40's. Highs during the wintertime are generally in the 30's; winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Beaver Ponds. The Sweeney Creek Ecology Trail offers hiking at its best, and wonderful skiing awaits you at Great Divide. This lake is so wonderful.
