Going for a hike on the Emma Peak Pack Trail is always a great adventure, and camping at Denna Mora Campground is always a great experience. Beaver Lake gets a typical amount of yearly rainfall; the month of January is the wettest
with most of the snow, and July is the month with the least moisture. This lake is so wonderful. St. Joe River - Skookum Canyon is a pleasant whitewater spot in close proximity to Beaver Lake. Beaver Lake is located in the Bitterroot
Range. For the duration of the summertime at Beaver Lake temperatures are generally in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures fall down into the 40's. The winter brings highs down to the 30's, and winter nights come with lows
in the 10's to Beaver Lake. You can run the rapids of St. Joe River - North Fork close to Beaver Lake; Lookout Pass is a great local ski area.
