The beauty of Beaver Lake is reason enough to stop by. All the outdoors cool things in the Bitterroot Range will keep you coming back again and again. Get soaked paddling on St. Joe River - Skookum Canyon. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Bitterroot Range. Really great skiing awaits you at Lookout Pass, and the Emma Peak Pack Trail offers hiking at its best. Summer brings highs in the 80's to Beaver Lake. | | the 40's. Throughout the wintertime this place gets highs in the 30's, and after the sun is down during the winter temperatures at Beaver Lake fall into the 10's.
At Beaver Lake you can distinguish Beaver Peak, and why not explore close by Dixie Creek if you're here at Beaver Lake. There's so much to do here at Beaver Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Denna Mora Campground is a splendid site for that, and Beaver Lake is right by the Black Peak Trail. | |

Just can't get enough of Beaver Lake. Stay the night at Jack Pine Flats Campground, and whitewater paddling is perfect on St. Joe River - North Fork.
This lake is so wonderful. There's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at nearby
Lookout Pass, and do take a hike on the Reader Gulch Pack Trail. The Bitterroot Range scenery is always beautiful. Beaver Lake is a good location of normal rain; of all the months in a year January is the one with the most snow, and July is the month with the least moisture.
