What a nice lake Beauty Lake is. The Absaroka Range scenery is always beautiful. Through the months of summer highs here at Beauty Lake reach the 80's. Summer nighttime lows descend down to the 50's. Daytime highs through the wintertime are in the 30's, and overnight lows in the 10's for Beauty Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Do visit Anvil Lake near Beauty Lake, it's a charming lake, and hiking along the Republic Trail is pleasant fun.

| | in the Absaroka Range if you fancy the outdoors. In case you don’t mind getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Clarks Fork Yellowstone. Whitewater paddling is great on Stillwater River, and Goose Creek is right next door to Beauty Lake and is always a diversion to take a look at. So many entertaining things to do here in the Absaroka Range, too good to be true. Camping is available at Colter Campground, and a great spot to stop | |

A wonderful location to camp here at Beauty Lake is Soda Butte Campground, and going for a hike along the Pilot Creek Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood. If only every place had
this much outdoors enjoyable stuff, what a great planet it would be. After a long day outdoors Super 8 Motel Big Timber is a splendid location to spend a night or two, and if the weather is fine, you can go for a hike along the Thunderer
Cutoff Trail. It is very arid here at Beauty Lake generally; May is when you get the most rain here; the driest month of the year is February.
