The warmest time of the year at Bear Lakes comes with high temperatures in the 80's, and the night is slightly cooler of course, mostly in the 50's. During the winter highs are generally in the 30's with temperatures at Bear Lakes dipping down into the 10's through winter nights. There's just no way anyone can get bored here at Bear Lakes. Really wonderful skiing awaits you at       Bridger Bowl, and you get a great vista of Bald Knob from here. Take a hike on the Pole Gulch Trail, and lakes are such peaceful places, why not explore Crystal Lake. Bear Lakes is ordinarily a reasonably arid spot; most of the rain falls through May, and February is when it's the driest. This lake is so wonderful. Hiking along the Red Rock Trail is great fun, and why not camp at Palace Butte Campground while you're here at Bear Lakes. You'll come across                  a beautiful lake called Pine Lake near Bear Lakes. A brilliant place to camp here at Bear Lakes is Bear Canyon RV Park, and dry warm beds await you at Microtel Inn and Suites Bozeman.
