If you like lakes and you're in this part of Montana you can check out Bear Lakes. The warmest time of the year at Bear Lakes comes with high temperatures in the 80's, and the night is slightly cooler of course, mostly in the 50's. During the winter highs are generally in the 30's with temperatures at Bear Lakes dipping down into the 10's through winter nights. There's just no way anyone can get bored here at Bear Lakes. | | Bridger Bowl, and you get a great vista of Bald Knob from here. Take a hike on the Pole Gulch Trail, and lakes are such peaceful places, why not explore Crystal Lake. Bear Lakes is ordinarily a reasonably arid spot; most of the rain falls through May, and February is when it's the driest. This lake is so wonderful. Hiking along the Red Rock Trail is great fun, and why not camp at Palace Butte Campground while you're here at Bear Lakes. You'll come across | |

a beautiful lake called Pine Lake near Bear Lakes. A brilliant place to camp here at Bear Lakes is Bear Canyon RV Park, and dry warm beds await you at Microtel Inn and Suites Bozeman. In case you don’t mind getting wet, you can
always go whitewater paddling on Yellowstone River; if you need a spot to stay Comfort Inn Bozeman is a great choice.

 | 13 miles away 12 PHOTOS Bridger Bowl offers a very diverse ski experience with the following ratings: 20% beginner, 30% intermediate, 20% advance and 30% extreme. Incredible expert only skiing is available off Bridger's new Schlasman's Chairlift and on the renowned ''Ridge.'' Skiers and snowboarders who wish to ride the new lift or access this terrain, collectively known as Ridge Terrain, must have an avalanche transceiver (457 kHz). It is strongly recommended to have a partner, a shovel and expert skiing abilities in addition to knowledge of the terrain before venturing into the area which will have no hazard markings, no grooming and no marked trails. Ridge Terrain contains numerous steep chutes, rock cliffs, and snowfields which may end in unmarked cliffs.
