This lake is so wonderful. Get wet paddling on White Sand Creek, and do take a hike on the Saint Mary Peak Trail. Here at Bear Lake you can see Sky Pilot, and going for a hike along the Sally Ridge Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood. If you want a perfect time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Bitterroot Range. | | Hamilton is a perfect site to spend a night or two. You definitely should love Bear Lake. Drift down the rapids of Big Sand Creek in a kayak, and swing by Middle Fork Bear Creek it's a perfect place to stop by. The yearly precipitation here at Bear Lake is about average; of all the months in a year January is the one with the most snow; the driest of the months is July. hotel is Super 8 Motel - Hamilton, and camping is available at Riverside RV Park. This lake is so wonderful. A tremendous site to camp here at Bear Lake is Blodgett Canyon Campground, and Bear Creek Pass is another brilliant location
to go to nearby. Bear Lake is a beautiful lake in the Bitterroot Range. Hiking along the Sweeney Ridge Trail is pleasant fun; a lake nearby is South Fork Lake. At Bear Lake throughout the warm days of summer highs are in the 80's;
during summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. For the period of the wintertime this place gets highs in the 30's; winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Bear Lake.
