Bear Lake is a lake worth visiting. There's no way someone can get bored here in the Bitterroot Range. A wonderful site to camp here at Bear Lake is Riverside RV Park, and going for a hike on the Sally Ridge Trail is always a fine adventure. This lake is so wonderful. The Saint Mary Peak Trail is a brilliant hiking trail near Bear Lake. This lake is one of the great places here in the Bitterroot Range. At Bear Lake during the warm months highs are in the

| | 80's. Summer overnight lows fall down to the 40's. Daytime highs throughout the wintertime are in the 30's, and overnight lows at Bear Lake all through the wintertime regularly dip into the 10's. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the fun things at Bear Lake. There are some fine whitewater spots on White Sand Creek, and it's a good idea to check out Middle Fork Bear Creek.
