If you like lakes and you're in this part of Montana you can check out Bass Lake. This lake is located in the wonderful Bitterroot Range. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Super 8 Motel - Hamilton. Bass Lake gets very little rainfall; the wettest month of the year is mostly May, that's the one that rains the most, and October on the other hand is the driest. And if that's not enough there's a lot more entertaining stuff to do in the Bitterroot

| | Range. There are great locations to explore along the Sweeney Ridge Trail; since you're here, you could also explore beautiful Mills Lake. And that's not all you can do here at Bass Lake. Good hiking is available along the Mill Creek Trail, and there's some exciting stuff to spot at Bass Lake Dam in close proximity to Bass Lake. Fort Fizzle Campground is a great campground nearby, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Kootenai Creek. This lake is so wonderful. | |

Stay the night at Charles Waters Memorial Campground; if you come at the right time of year, White Sand Creek offers some great whitewater. Go for a hike on the Saint Mary Peak Trail, and you'll stumble on a charming lake called Sweeney
Lake. During the warm days of summer here at Bass Lake, high temperatures usually reach the 80's. Summer overnight lows fall down to the 50's. All through the winter highs are generally in the 20's, and throughout the dark hours in
the winter at Bass Lake temperatures descend to the 10's. Just can't get enough of the Bitterroot Range. Lolo-Days Inn Missoula South/Blue Mountain is a splendid location to get some rest, and Saint Joseph Peak is clearly visible from Bass Lake.
