There is a brilliant hiking trail next to Basham Lake called the Jimmie Ridge Trail, and after a long day outdoors Glacier Mountain Lodge is a perfect place to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful. On a great day at Basham Lake you can take a hike along the Alpine Trail;       why not camp at Bigfork Campground while you're here at Basham Lake. This lake is so wonderful. An afternoon playing golf at Eagle Bend Golf Club is always a pleasure, and lakes are such calm places, why not stop at Talmadge Lake. The Doris Creek Trail is a magnificent hiking trail close to Basham Lake, and you're sure to stumble upon some fine folks from Kalispell here. For the duration of the days of summer at Basham Lake temperatures are regularly in the                  70's. During the moonlight hours it's generally in the 40's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 20's with temperatures at Basham Lake dipping down into the 10's through winter nights. Any time is a great time at Basham Lake if you adore the outdoors. There are other spots here than Basham Lake, for example McGilvray Lake, and a good place for whitewater paddling is Swan River. Nothing beats kicking back at Long Beach, and do schedule some time to have a look at Blackies Bay if you have a chance. There's just no way anybody can get bored here at Basham Lake. Basham Lake gets very little rainfall; the month of June is the wettest with most of the rain while February is mostly the driest month.
