This lake is so wonderful. But wait, there's more enjoyable things to do in the Absaroka Range. While you're here at Barrier Lake you can take a hike along the Thunderer Cutoff Trail, and do take a hike on the Republic Trail. Lakes? Sure, Clam Lake is in close proximity, and you can run the rapids of Boulder       River. Having a brilliant time in the Absaroka Range is easy. A quick trip to Middle Fork Wounded Man Creek in the neighborhood of Barrier Lake is a pleasant idea; Super 8 Big Timber is a fine location to get some rest. This location is unbeatable, just explore all the cool stuff to do near Barrier Lake. Not far from Barrier Lake, you'll come across Trouble Lake which is a delightful lake, and you can have a pleasant hiking adventure along the Lodgepole Trail.                  All through the days of summer at Barrier Lake highs are ordinarily in the 80's. Once the sun is down it drops down to the 50's. Throughout the winter highs are in the 30's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Barrier Lake. Jordan Pass is a wonderful place to pop by in the vicinity of Barrier Lake; camping is available at Hells Canyon Campground. Barrier Lake is one of the lakes here in the Absaroka Range. This lake is so wonderful.
