Montana has many beautiful lakes and Baree Lake is one of them. The Cabinet Mountains scenery is always beautiful. The yearly rain here at Baree Lake is about average; November is the wettest month with most rain, and the driest month is July. I can't stop, cause I'm havin' a splendid time here at Baree Lake. Take a side journey to North Fork Silver Butte Creek, and Baree Lake is glorious enough to spend more than a day at, Lake Creek Campground is a glorious

That right there is plenty of enjoyable things already but it goes on, the Cabinet Mountains has it all. This lake is so wonderful. The Divide Cutoff Trail offers hiking at its best, and camping at North Shore Campground is always a fine experience. At Baree Lake all through the warmest time of the year highs are in the 80's with nighttime lows in the 40's. High temperatures through the wintertime are normally in the 30's with winter lows | |

Be careful coming to the Cabinet Mountains, you might not ever want to return home again. Good hiking is available along the Silver Butte Trail; there are some great whitewater spots on
Vermilion River. After a long day outdoors Rodeway Inn Libby is a splendid site to spend a night or two, and you'll find a delightful lake called Wanless Lake. Baree Mountain is a peak you can catch a sight of from Baree Lake; there's splendid hiking along the Cabinet Divide Trail.
