Not far from Barb Lake, you'll come across Gorge Lakes which is a stunning lake. Barb Lake is delightful enough to spend more than a day at, Dinner Station Campground is a delightful local campground; if you need a location to stay Comfort Inn Dillon is a nice choice. This lake is one of the great places here in the Pioneer Mountains. Camping at Aspen Campground is always a nice       experience, and on a fine day you can take a hike along the Driveway Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Lakes? Sure, Torrey Lake is in the neighborhood, and since you're here you can take a hike along the Gold Creek Trail. Now, you may assume that's a load but there's even more enjoyable stuff to do here in the Pioneer Mountains. The peak of Barb Mountain can be made out from Barb Lake, and if the weather is good, you can go for a hike along the Rhubarb Patch                  Trail. Barb Lake is generally a rather dried out spot; through June this area sees the most rain while February is typically the driest month. Summertime brings highs in the 70's to Barb Lake with overnight lows in the 30's.
