A visit to Baney Lake is always a good idea. Kristianna Mountain Homes is a brilliant spot to get some rest, and this is a popular place for people from Kalispell. Really pleasant skiing awaits you at Blacktail Mountain; there are other places here than Baney Lake, for example Spencer Lake.

| | lake. Through the warm days of summer at Baney Lake highs are mostly in the 80's. Summer overnight lows drop down to the 40's. For the period of the wintertime the highs are generally in the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Baney Lake. Glide down the rapids of Stillwater River in a kayak, and camping at Whitefish/Kalispell N KOA is always a fine experience.

is a perfect spot to spend a night or two, and camping is available at Diamond K Chuckwagon. This lake is so wonderful. The Tally Mountain Billy Creek Trail is a good hiking trail close to Baney Lake, and you can never get enough
of the magnificent skiing at Big Mountain. If you want a splendid time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Baney Lake. While you're here at Baney Lake you can take a hike along the Mountain Meadow Trail; Whitefish Lake Golf
Club is a good golf course close by.
It is very waterless here at Baney Lake generally; through June this area sees the most rain; October is the month with the least moisture.
