    If you like lakes and you're in this part of Montana you can check out Bandy Reservoir. Summertime at Bandy Reservoir arrives with high temperatures in the 80's, and the night is rather colder of course, typically in the 40's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 20's, and nighttime lows during the winter for Bandy Reservoir tend to be in the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. Lakes are pleasant; James Lake is a lake that's in the vicinity of Bandy Reservoir,  
   and do take a hike on the Dunham Lodgepole Trail. Looking for some flowing water? Try Dry Cottonwood Creek, and paddling on Blackfoot River - North Fork is so much fun.
All the outdoors entertaining stuff in the Lewis Range will keep you coming back persistently. Blackfoot River has a delightful whitewater paddling spot nearby. There's so much to do here at Bandy Reservoir that you need to camp here for a while, Russell Gates Memorial Campground is a wonderful
 
               location for that. Not far from Bandy Reservoir you obtain some splendid water scenery at Bandy Reservoir Dam, and if you came to camp Monture Creek Campground is a nice place to do that. Be careful coming to Bandy Reservoir, you might not ever want to return back home again. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always stop by close by Rice Lake; hiking along the Dunham Trail is splendid fun.
This lake is so wonderful. Bandy Reservoir is ordinarily a quite arid site; the month of January is the wettest with most of the snow, and the driest of the months is July. Bandy Reservoir is one of the lakes here in the Lewis Range.
Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Lewis Range. If you need a place to stay Rodeway Inn Deer Lodge is a glorious choice; you can have a delightful hiking adventure along the Center Ridge Trail.
