If you are traveling by, why not stop by Bair Reservoir. An attention-grabbing thing to visit next to Bair Reservoir is Bair Dam, and if you came for an overnight stay Lion Creek Campground is a magnificent place to camp. It is very dried up here at Bair Reservoir typically; through the month of June you get the most rain around here, and the driest of the months is February. This lake is so wonderful. What would winter be without some skiing at Showdown,

| | and on a glorious day you can take a hike along the Jamison Trail. Summer at Bair Reservoir comes with high temperatures in the 70's. Summer overnight lows descend down to the 40's. All through the winter the highs are generally in the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Bair Reservoir. Brooks Creek is one of the streams close by that might be worth visiting; Solberg's Pine Valley Cabins is a wonderful local campground.
