Do stop by Aurice Lake while you're in this part of Montana. The yearly rainfall here at Aurice Lake is about average; throughout December this area sees the most snow while April is the month with the least amount of precipitation. In case you don’t have a problem getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Flathead River - Middle Fork, and you acquire a great view of Mount Helen from here. If the weather is good here at Aurice Lake, you can go for a hike along the Upper Two Medicine Trail; you can stay the night at Devil Creek Campground. Throughout the warm months highs here at Aurice
Lake reach the 70's; the nighttime is somewhat cooler of course, mostly in the 40's. All through the winter highs are mostly in the 20's, and after the sun is down during the wintertime temperatures at Aurice Lake drop into the 10's.
If you fancy the outdoors you'll fancy it here in the Lewis Range. There is a delightful hiking trail close to Aurice Lake called the Dawson Pass Trail, and Bear Creek is a good whitewater spot nearby.
