If you need a place to stay Comfort Inn Big Sky is a nice choice, and do stop at Ashley Dam if you're here. This lake is so wonderful. The Meadow Creek Trail offers hiking at its best. For the period of the warmest time of the year at Ashley Lake highs are generally in the 80's. Summer nighttime lows plunge down to the 40's. Highs during the wintertime are mostly in the 20's, and after the sun is down through the wintertime temperatures at Ashley Lake drop into

thing to do around Ashley Lake; Reid Divide Trail is a wonderful local trail, and after a long day outdoors Kristianna Mountain Homes is a delightful site to spend a night or two. At Ashley Lake you don’t see much precipitation; most of the rain falls all through June, and February is when it's the driest.
