This lake is so wonderful. The Meadow Creek Trail offers hiking at its best. For the period of the warmest time of the year at Ashley Lake highs are generally in the 80's. Summer nighttime lows plunge down to the 40's. Highs during the wintertime are mostly in the 20's, and after the sun is down through the wintertime temperatures at Ashley Lake drop into       the 10's. A great location to camp here at Ashley Lake is Ashley Lake Campground, and perhaps you're looking for nearby lakes? Sure, Lone Lake is just a very short distance away. There's whitewater on Stillwater River for all you adrenaline kick people, and if you've had enough of Ashley Lake, Ashley Lake is nearby. This lake is so wonderful. Why not camp at Rest-A-Day Campground since you're here at Ashley Lake, and there's good hiking along the Logan                  Creek Trail. Just can't get enough of Ashley Lake. Bernard Creek is one of the streams close by that might be worth stopping at, and pretty scenery and pleasant skiing is what you obtain at Blacktail Mountain. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Ashley Lake; Reid Divide Trail is a wonderful local trail, and after a long day outdoors Kristianna Mountain Homes is a delightful site to spend a night or two.
