    The beauty of Arrow Lake is reason enough to stop by. If only every location had this much outdoors exciting stuff, what a great planet it would be. Spanish Peaks Club is a splendid place to get some rest, and you'll meet a lot of folks from Bozeman here. Through the months of summer at Arrow Lake temperatures are typically in the 80's. Summer overnight lows fall down to the 50's. Through the winter highs are in the 30's, and nighttime lows in the 10's for  
   Arrow Lake. If you need a place to stay Hidden Village is a fine choice, and Arrow Lake is great enough to spend more than a day at, Castle Rock Inn is a great local campground.
This lake is so wonderful. If you like skiing, you're in luck; Moonlight Basin is near Arrow Lake. Not much rain falls here at Arrow Lake; the wettest month of the year is ordinarily May, that's the one that rains the most while December is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
 
               North Fork Hell Roaring Creek is one of the streams close by that might be worth going to, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always take a look at close by Grayling Lake.
Gallatin River is a delightful whitewater spot close to Arrow Lake; going for a hike on the Eldridge Trail is always a tremendous adventure. This lake is so wonderful. Lakes? Sure, North Fork Lake is close by; close by you locate the Divide Trail which is a great hiking trail. Big Sky is a great local ski area, and camping at Elkhorn is always a good experience.

It starts out near a small pond called Moose Lake, follows a path up some dense forest for a couple of miles, then opens up into these huge rolling meadows surrounded by Cedar Mountain, Pioneer Mountain, and Lone Mountain with a great view of Sphinx Mountain in the distance....
